Names the Game

So we decided to name our little puppy Reggie. His full name is, ready for it...Prince Reggie Chocolate Cupcake Snowflake Lake. That was all the silly names I could think of the the ones we like for reals all rolled up into one. Matt loves it, it's so manly.

Here comes the sad part. We really aren't dog people. I suppose that is why you shouldn't buy things on an impulse, especially living, breathing things that don't come with a reciept. I think we decided we should sell him. We really love him but we can't spend enough time with him to really make him as happy as he should be. So if you know anyone who would love him to pieces and needs a Christmas present let us know.

New Dog

Well we were driving to Molly's basketball tourny today and we happened to see a man on the corner with dogs for sale...looks like we got one! I'm still not very sure how this all happened, it was very much an impulse buy, which I have been known to do a few times in my life. He is a rhodesian ridgeback...they were bred to hunt lions in Africa...pretty rad. We are having troubles on a name. Here are some options...
1. Cupcake(my favorite...he doesn't know he's a boy)
2. Teancum (Mr. T for short)
3. Gary
4. Thor
5. Bison
6. Sweats (that suggestion is from our little friend Jake, he's three)
Wish us luck...and if we decide we aren't dog people afterall you know what you'll be getting for Christmas!!

A Walk Down Memory Lane

Matt recently got out his mission boxes and we have spent the last few days going through them all trying to get more organized...as we were doing so I stumbled across some fabulous pictures that I thought needed to be shared!

Look very closely and you will see that Matt has been shopping in the 80's girls department...yikes

Slick hair was in in the fourth grade...he has it down to a tee

I love the flannel sweater vest

Now onto me...it took me quite awhile to find any pictures of me that weren't cute, because lets face it...I was a cute kid...but I did manage to find some gems!

I bet you all didn't know I used to be a boy...I decided one day I wanted to look like my dad so I cut all of my hair off...the outfit sure helps pull the look together.

I chose this one to demonstrate the proper bang...it should start in the middle of your head to get the most use out of it
Yes I have a uni-brow and a missing tooth...classy.

Dancing Fool

Fake Tree

Last year when we were living in Ephraim we had to get a fake tree because we were moving right in the middle of December(I hate fake trees). I decided since we had it and all the pretty ornaments I might as well put it up two. So now we have two trees...love it.

I accidently posted the same picture twice and I don't know how to get it off...oh well it's a pretty pic.

These are my new favorite candle sticks...I love them!

Real Tree

This is our first real Christmas tree(well Matt's at least) and we love it. It is huge and smells SO good. We drove for hours to find our most perfect little tree...it ended up being just down the street from our house, but it was a fun adventure. Matt took some paint off trying to get the tree inside!

Matt is very proud.

I tried to leave the decorating to Matt and Molly but they missed the whole top of the tree!!

All done. The tree is much bigger than we thought...I'll have to get more ornaments to fill it out, you can hardly see them in there.

Day after Thanksgiving

Molly, Julee and I went shopping bright and early Friday morning. When we got to Target there was already a line wraping around the building so we decided to hang out on the side lines and sneak our way in once the doors opened...cheating I know but who decided that you have to stand in a line anyways, people just trample each other line or no line. Well after we snuck into line the people behind us kept saying how people who cut are immoral...ouch, that's hardcore.

After our day of shopping we went downtown to watch the Christmas parade...every year there is a light festival the day after Thanksgiving. It was lots of fun and really cold.

This is Matt's winter hat...pretty sexy.
