Well we were driving to Molly's basketball tourny today and we happened to see a man on the corner with dogs for sale...looks like we got one! I'm still not very sure how this all happened, it was very much an impulse buy, which I have been known to do a few times in my life. He is a rhodesian ridgeback...they were bred to hunt lions in Africa...pretty rad. We are having troubles on a name. Here are some options... 1. Cupcake(my favorite...he doesn't know he's a boy)
2. Teancum (Mr. T for short)
3. Gary 
4. Thor
5. Bison
6. Sweats (that suggestion is from our little friend Jake, he's three)
Wish us luck...and if we decide we aren't dog people afterall you know what you'll be getting for Christmas!!

Wow! A dog! You guys are brave. :-) My vote is for cupcake but Thor has to be a close second. Love ya!
All my Ridgebacks have Swahili names. I believe a dog that is as special as a Ridgeback is, deserves an equally special name.

congratulations on being a dog owner. good luck, though. they're alot like having a baby in the home (waking in the middle of the night, potty training, etc..)
my girls are JEALOUS!! they want a doggie SO SO bad.
