Hiking

So many people loved our hiking picture(and I am bored) so I thought I would explain it. In detail.

Last year for spring break we went to Palm Springs to visit my Dad and Rhonda, while we were there my dad took us on a little hiking trip on an Indian Reservation. It started out really pretty and flat and we were surrounded by really big palm trees. Then my dad, I don't know why I ever expect anything different, decides to take us off the trail....
To these rocks he thought we should climb up to get to the top of the canyon(even though there were signs to stay on the trail)

As you can see I was having a rough go at it from the start...

After a few rocks my dad decided it wasn't such a good idea with me there so we headed back down. For some reason on the way up we bi-passed this little river but on the way down we had to either walk through it or stay on the edge of the rocks to get to the other side. After taking one look at the water I decided I would rather die than touch the water so...

After a couple of tries to jump onto the rock...
Matt found me a stick that he thought I could use to fling myself up...like the high jumpers do...I feel like no one in my family has every met me before

Molly apparently found this very funny

I finally made it onto the rock and then slid right into the water...people ask me if I'm really crying and I think I really might have been. It felt like a very long fall from where I was and the water was disgusting. I was also sort of laughing, out of panic, so it's really hard to say!

I want you all to notice Matt in the background...

Matt's still laughing and I'm still...crying?

Whew, I finally made it and my dad once again tells me he is never taking me hiking(rafting, skiing, fishing, camping...) ever again.

I think all in all it was a good thing I fell off when I did because I don't think I could have pulled THIS off...

Nice team work

Well because I don't get my book until next week because I had to order it since we don't live in a town with book stores and I have nothing better to do...no t.v. no other books to read to sister to bug. I am sitting here staring at the wall. I can't wait to read it though.

Still don't know if I should cry with you or laugh with you:). I finally read the first twilight book. You should be very proud.

This was great! I remember wondering about that picture, and I never could have imagined the whole story would have been so hilarious. You're great at telling personal stories. This made my day. Thanks for filling us in on the rest of the story...

I finished Breaking Dawn this morning. It was really good! I took it over to Julee's so Molly and Sheralyn could read it as they were having a sleepover there with Aubrey and the Cluff girls.

This story beats all others! I love the close up of you crying and Matt still laughing in the background.

Ty saw these pictures and said he would save you from the dirty water!

I got behind when I was on my trip and missed this post somehow. But, you are SO funny! And this just reminded me how much so. Who was the photographer for all this? I am so curious.

Wish I could have been there. Good times!

Hope you can come in October!
