Windy City

Okay so I'm sitting out here at the pool(don't be jealous) trying to check all my blogs and read some good gossip(my life is hard) but I keep getting interupted by the WIND!! I just checked the weather to see how windy it actually was sinceI was almost blown out of my lawn chair...it says it's 40mph....all I know is it is strong and my nice oily legs are covered in red sand. They don't really have grass around here...only in little patches so the whole complex is mostly different colors of sand...very strange. On a good note I just looked up and saw a huge sign for burritos across the street...anyone who knows me knows I LOVE burritos. Nice. That just made my day. We really have no food yet only random odds and ends so I'm getting quite bored of eating at home(alone). Matt is insisting we still don't need to get a t.v. Anyone who knows me also knows I need a t.v. especially since there is no one to talk to from 12-10 at night...how boring. My computer just shut on mefrom the wind! Yikes! Well I guess you can tell that I'm bored because I've blabbed about nothing and have nothing left to say yet I want to keep writing because it's entertaining me.

Good Bye Oregon, Hello Texas

We finally made it to El Paso. Yay. We have been planning this for so long it's weird that we are finally here...BUT I am so excited to be on a four month vacation! Woohoo! A few quick observations that I've already noticed.
1. We can see Mexico from our appartment.
2. It is windy here!
3. It is HOT here...and I LOVE it.
4. Deciding not to pack ANYTHING but clothes and "buy it all when we get there" is really overwhelming and costs A LOT more than I remembered!

Our appartments are great. They are really nice and new and clean and big. I will post pics once I get it all cute and put together.
Really I'm just excited and think this will be a great summer.

Don't get offended we tell everyone they are our favorites(wink wink)...Well befor we left for Texas we had a happy b-day Jake/goodbye for awhile party. It was a blast. We had a lot of people in our tiny house!...but it sure was a lot of fun. We are sad to leave our friends(they are moving to Utah) but we are excited to come visit them in the fall!

Our Trip to Utah

Where oh where to start. First of all I'm feeling a little blogged out...that is why you may have noticed my blogging in spurts...it takes so much time and the pressure to keep the best blog is getting to me! I still love it, don't get me wrong I'm just loving it in moderation. Matt and I just took a two week trip to Utah so Matt could do some training and I could do some crafting. We had so much fun and took so many pictures so here are a few highlights.
